International Femboy Day is a relatively new celebration, the first mention of a dedicated day being around mid-2020. Femboy Day is a chance for those who choose to express themselves in a feminine manner to celebrate their individual beauty and creativity. The day is celebrated annually on April 10th.
Typically, but not exclusively, femboys are AMAB but gain enjoyment in expressing themselves in a feminine manner. It could be through language, dress, make-up, body language and in all likelihood, combinations thereof. Femboys are often, but by no means exlusively, slender with an ectomorph body shape. They generally dislike body hair and go to great lengths to remove this.
As the name suggests, most femboys are AMAB and continue being male their whole lives, but there is a growing movement among transsexuals as people look for communities they align with. Being open and inclusive, femboys mind less about the physical characteristics of a person and more the way they feel and behave.
Femboys aren’t necessarily gay, and just a glance over a few polls on community-driven sites like Reddit suggest most consider themselves bisexual. Generally speaking, femboys enjoy wearing feminine clothing, are fans of Astolfo and Monster energy drinks, and go nuts at the mention of thigh-highs and croptops.
While International Femboy Day might be in its infancy, femboys most certainly are not and many would argue their tribe has been around for decades.
So find your favourite thong, slide into some fishnets, pull up the socks and say a big uWu; it’s International Femboy Day. :3
